Paper titled “Nine-residue peptide self-assembles in the presence of silver to produce a self-healing, cytocompatible, antimicrobial hydrogel” has been published at ACS Applied Materials and Interfaces. Congratulation to Areetha and Jennifer! (among other authors of the paper).

The paper has several authors, among them our three undergraduate students (Joel, Christos and Cara).

Jennifer is the co-first author in the recent ChemCatChem paper that has been featured on the cover.

The Chemistry Department hosted a Prospective Graduate Student visitation weekend on March 2nd, 2019, where Jennifer presented a poster and received an award for her presentation.

Christos presented his work at the 3rd Meredith Symposium (meredithsymposium.syr.edu).
